How do I add Chatigy to my site?

Can I customize Chatigy to match my site?
YES! The Chatigy dashboard allows you to customize Chatigy’s colors to match your site.
Can I chat with a specific person, or is Chatigy only for public chats?
Both! You can start private chats with any user in Chatigy. Just click their avatar to open a private chat. You can also search the directory in Chatigy for users.
How is Chatigy different from other chat apps?
Most live chat apps are designed for store owners to talk to their customers. Chatigy does that too, but we also allow for person to person chat to get your visitors talking to one another. Building a community keeps your customers coming back to your store.
Can my vistors discuss specific products?
Yes. With Chatigy, there are page chats where your customers discuss the content of any of the pages in your store. Page chats can be about a blog post, product, catalog or product category. There's no limit to what visitors can discuss with Chatigy.
What if I want to find a specific person or discussion? Is there a search feature?
Absolutely! You can use the Chatigy search box to find text within chats across your site. You can also search from users in the Chatigy universe.
How can I use Chatigy to learn more about my visitors?
You can read and even participate in chats with your visitors, gaining insight into what they are looking at, how they make their purchasing decisions, where your store could be improved, and where you are hitting on all cylinders. You can even start a private chat from a public chat to engage directly one-on-one with a visitor, thus opening up a lot of new ways to directly communicate with your site vistors.

Chatigy has a durable profanity filter that prohibits users from posting profane content on public chats.
How can I remove unwanted messages from my Chatigy?
It could happen that inappropriate, unwanted, or unwarranted content is posted on your site's Chatigy. Simply contact us and we will assist you in removing this content. We are continually reviewing our policies in terms of handling moderation of messages and may be coming out with new features to handle these situations.
